After starting this blog, I had "life", the book and shows to attend to which kept me quite busy. Now with the 2008 New Year approaching, I want to write more regularly here to capture the different crafty creations I make aside from jewelry and glass. Also, you will hopefully get a chance to travel with me in 2008 to my various show venues through my camera lens. I hope to provide plenty of eye candy along the way through the periodic "Thursday Tease" posts.
Here is a quick look at my crazy 2008 show schedule:
February - Tucson, AZ
March - Portland, OR
April - Miami, FL and Culver City, CA
May - Phoenix, AZ
June - Milwaukee, WI
July - Tacoma, WA
August - San Diego, CA and Valley Forge, PA
September - Denver, CO
October - New York, NY and Culver City, CA
November - Oakland, CA
If I survive this schedule, I can conquer just about anything! Why did I do this to myself? Because I'm crazy? Maybe. No, I'm just one motivated girl who has a message and desire to make this a "Beading Nation". I wanted to promote and share with everyone my new book, Bead Romantique, published by Interweave Press. That's the major reason for scheduling all the shows but the other reason is that I also love to travel and to meet new/old customers in person. I enjoy my time talking with YOU at shows. So come for a visit and stay to chat awhile, if you see me at a show.
I'm looking forward to exhibiting at the Bead and Button show for the first time this year, helping my friend Jannell Botto of Specialty Beads at her booth #822, who has been so gracious to invite me to share my work in the MidWest. So Milwaukee, here I come!
In the meantime, Happy New Year to everyone. May 2008 bring you health, love, joy, prosperity and creative adventures.
